Our client is a hyper-growth SaaS company based in NYC. They have recently raised a Series A round of funding and are hiring aggressively. 

As the Front End Engineer, your primary focus will be the development of all client-side logic for our SaaS product written in Angular 9, with Python/Django/REST API back-end. A good candidate will ensure high performance and responsiveness of front-end rendering and have experience with Angular and SSR (or other similar technologies).

This is an Engineering first environment. The leadership looks for people who are adaptable, curious about technologies and have a Polyglot approach to coding (That said they currently use Angular, Python and Django). They also require someone with a good grasp of the fundamentals of Software Engineering and OOP.

The company highly values collaboration and thus this role will be local to NYC and will be in the office roughly 3 days a week. For an exceptional candidate, they will consider 100% remote. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Partner directly with the CTO to develop high-quality software with attention to detail
• Act as a Lead to a team of offshore Front End Engineers. 
• Have an eye for UX, and a strong desire to enhance the user experience.
• You will collaborate with the business and sales teams to prioritize what can  improve our revenue
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Interact with customers and support them in being successful

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience developing front-end systems powered by RESTful API
• Excellent grasp of computer science fundamentals.
• Experience using Angular, Vue.js, or React or other similar front end frameworks. Willingness to use Angular is a must!
• An understanding of what makes high-performance front-ends operate & scalability
