Outside Sales Rep - Hard Kombucha / Craft Beer

Remote - Austin, TX

Are you the kind of person that loves striking up conversations with new people? If so, we are looking for a Sales Rep to sell our unique brand of Hard Water Kefir (No, it’s not Kombucha) to convenience and grocery stores, as well as on-premise accounts such as Bars and Restaurants. Austin is our biggest market opportunity for growth but you will also oversee San Antonio, where we are headquartered and have our original Taproom. 

Our client has brewed a first-of-its-kind Water Kefir product that they are excited to share with the world. They have a local Tap Room open already are now looking to grow their sales rapidly in 2024. This is a startup company and we are looking for people excited about the prospect of representing a unique brand with a compelling value proposition. A Clean, Alcoholic Beverage with health benefits, 0 sugar, and 0 hangover! This product sells itself! 

Responsibilities: 

  • Open up new accounts with local bars, restaurants, convenience stores, and anywhere that also sells craft brew and hard kombucha. 
  • Product Education to customers about Water Kefir, its taste, benefits and origins/company story. 
  • Maintain effective relations with customers by serving as the primary point of contact and building good rapport
  • Supply account with product by personally calling on accounts on a set schedule
  • Ensure accuracy of orders by maintaining up-to-date and current route book 
  • Maintain sales, distribution, space allocation, placements, displays, and proper pricing
  • Upholds law regarding ABC regulations
  • Ensure fresh product by proper rotation in accounts
  • Remain up-to-date on competitor pricing and trends
  • Investigate and resolves all customer complaints and problems

Requirements:

Though experience selling into and existing contacts with bars, restaurants, and stores that sell Hard Kombucha and Craft Beers is preferred, it is not required. What is required is an outgoing personality who is not afraid of asking to speak to the Bar Manager to strike up a conversation. This is a sales position and the only way you will be successful is if you are making calls, and meeting people. We are open to hiring seasoned industry sales professionals with deep contacts as well as those with less experience but the right personality, drive, and fit with our company culture.  

We are open to paying a base salary for someone with less industry experience who would need to spend some time building a pipeline and we are also open to paying more or 100% commission to someone who has already sold into our target market and is confident they have contacts they can get us into quickly.

Our Taproom has a DJ Booth featuring great music on the weekends, we love to host drag shows locally and love supporting LGBTQ Organizations, and our Founder / CEO is an Asian American Female! You could say we have a bit of a Hippy Vibe and are looking for people who like to have fun and will fit in well! We have a fun story and are looking for someone to help us write the next exciting chapter!
