Sales Development Rep

Austin, TX

Our client is an Austin, TX-based, Investor-Backed, fast-growing company in the Consumer services space. We are ideally looking for someone based in Austin, TX and open to a hybrid or on-site role. 

As a Sales Development Rep (SDR), you’ll be the face of our company, introducing our game-changing service to high-net-worth individuals. There is no closing in this role, rather your job is simply to be that energetic, knowledgeable guide. 

The company is planning highly targeted direct mail campaigns to create awareness about their services. Currently, they close 10 clients/month without any proactive marketing. Success would be closing 25 customers per month through both inbound/organic leads as well as proactive, outbound customer acquisition. The base salary would be $50,000 and success would see you hitting $100,000 in OTE. Additionally we offer great benefits, stock options, and PTO. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work in tandem with targeted marketing campaigns and reach out to high-net-worth consumers through calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
  • Build genuine relationships with potential customers by listening to their needs and showing them how we can make their lives easier.
  • Conduct consultations, guiding clients through the benefits of our subscription service—no pushy sales tactics, just honest, value-driven conversations.

Requirements: 

  • 1-2 years of experience in tech/software/solution sales. Experience working in fast-paced, VC / Investor backed companies.
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone, make cold call, and handle rejection
  • You’ve got a high-energy, outgoing personality—you love meeting new people, and your enthusiasm is contagious.
  • You listen first. You understand that effective sales come from listening and providing real value, not from using outdated, pushy tactics.
