Executive Assistant

Austin, TX

This role is based in Austin, TX and you will be expected to meet with the CEO occasionally (Downtown Austin, TX) and help out with events/errands in person. 

Our client is a well-funded, pre-Series A fast-growing company in the Healthcare Technology / Virtual Care Management space. They expect to be profitable in early 2025 and raise a Series A/B round of funding as well so the time to join the company is now. Compensation-wise, we are open to a W2 with benefits or a 1099 contractor with no benefits (at a higher hourly rate).

This is the company's first Executive Assistant hire and will play a pivotal role as the company grows and scales over the coming months. As this is a fast-moving startup environment, we are looking for someone who can operate independently, think proactively, and do whatever it takes to get the job done. 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing vendors (HR, Paychex, Zoho, and any companies that do operational activities for us). 
  • Completing expense reports
  • Scheduling meetings/calls
  • Getting new employees onboarded (insurance, payroll, etc)
  • Making purchases
  • Running company errands for events if/when needed
  • Crafting and maintaining agendas at various meetings
  • Doing a large number of misc activities to take the burden off of the CEO's plate.

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, etc
  • Comfortable with software and tech (web apps, mobile apps, etc).
