Community / Field Marketing Specialist - Consumer Sales

We are partnered with a fast-growing, well-funded Business to Consumer Services (B2C) company reinventing home maintenance with a subscription-based model. Members pay a low monthly fee for access to affordable repairs and a twice-yearly preventive maintenance program that covers all major systems and appliances.

We are looking for a high-energy, self-motivated Field Marketing Specialist to help grow our customer base in the San Antonio / Austin, TX metro area. You'll be an early member of our local growth team, with the freedom to shape your approach and make a direct impact. This is a role for someone who thrives on face-to-face interaction, creative problem-solving, and hitting ambitious goals. This role will cover Austin and possibly San Antonio. 

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of local, in-person marketing efforts to drive new home subscriptions.
  • Identify and pursue high-impact outreach opportunities (e.g., real estate groups, HOAs, community events).
  • Build relationships with trusted local influencers like real estate agents, property managers, and neighborhood leaders.
  • Host or attend events such as breakfasts, lunches, or presentations to promote company services
  • Experiment with and iterate on grassroots marketing tactics to find what works.
  • Track performance, learn from results, and share insights with the broader team.

Requirements

  •   Prior experience in sales, field marketing, or community engagement is essential.
  •   Naturally outgoing and confident, engaging with new people in person.
  •   Comfortable working independently and figuring things out on the fly.
  •   Strong communication skills, both in conversation and small-group presentations.
  •   Resourceful, proactive, and motivated by hitting ambitious goals.
  •   Familiarity with homeowner audiences or real estate networks will be a significant advantage.
  •   Grit and resilience- able to handle rejection, stay positive, and keep pushing for ever-improving results.

Salary and Commission:

40K Annual Base + commission, with typical total compensation as follows:

  •   Baseline expectation: $5,000/month — consistent performance below this level likely means the role isn't the right fit
  •   Target goal: $8,333/month
  •   Stretch goal: $10,983/month or more
  •   Uncapped commission — the more you bring in, the more you earn
