Senior Account Executive - Manufacturing Solutions (Food & Bev, CPG)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a high-performing Enterprise Software Sales Executive to drive sales of MES adjacent industrial data solutions. You will own full-cycle sales across key verticals: Food & Beverage, CPG, and Life Sciences. Expanding our footprint while exceeding $1M+ targets. This person is as comfortable navigating a plant floor as they are closing at the C-suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle sales ownership, from prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing enterprise opportunities.
- Develop and execute account strategies to drive both expansion within our current client base and acquisition of net new logos across target verticals, including Food & Beverage, CPG, and Life Sciences.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at the plant and corporate level (Operations, Engineering, IT, and Procurement).
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, solution architects, marketing, and partners to build compelling solutions.
- Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue using Salesforce.
- Maintain deep knowledge of SCADA, alarm management, and analytics.
- Stay current on regulatory mandates, competitive offerings, and regulatory dynamics affecting digital manufacturing.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of successful enterprise software sales experience, specifically in MES, industrial automation, or related manufacturing software.
- Proven track record of exceeding $ 1 M+ annual quotas and selling into industrial manufacturing plants.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing operations in Food & Beverage, CPG, or Life Sciences industries is a big plus.
- Skilled in navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Consultative selling style, fluent in articulating ROI and business value.
- Willingness to travel 30-50%.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with common MES platforms (AVEVA, Siemens, Rockwell, GE Digital, Ignition).
- Understanding of manufacturing KPIs (OEE, downtime, MTTR, MTTF), alarm management, and digital transformation imperatives like Industry 4.0.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, or related preferred.
- MBA is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- OTE $280,000-$310,000 ($140-$155k base / $140-$155k variable at target).
