Installation Technician (Doors and Windows)

Our client is a local family-run business that is looking for a Installation Technician to join their team in West Austin. 

As the Installation Technician, you will play a crucial role in the Installation of the company's high-end window solutions for their client base.

The company offers American-made products built to the highest standards in their own facility based in West Austin. They are known for quality products and their business is expanding in both the manufacturing side and the installation side. They are building a state-of-the-art showroom and have an established sales and operational side of the business spearheading this growth.

You will work with team leads and senior installers who will train you on the quality, installation, and regularity side of the role. 

Skills required

  • Any window installation experience.
  • Construction, Carpentry, metal fabrication, welding or cabinetry fitting experience is great to see too.
  • Exemplary communication and customer service skills

What you will do

  • Assist in all aspects of the installation process; installing steel doors, windows, hardware, and glass
  • Identify existing and predictable scaffold hazards and take prompt measures to eliminate them
  • Adhere to the shift schedule, starting promptly at the shift beginning
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocol
  • Consistently follow supervisor directives in all regular duties and other assigned tasks
