Senior Manager, FP&A - B2B Services (PE-Backed)

Our client, a profitable $40M PE-backed B2B Marketing / Technology-Enabled Services company, is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A, to play a critical role in owning the forecast model, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis. We are trying to find someone who has the combination of strategic/tactical experience along with the vision, drive, and communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders to truly make a difference in the business. 

Reporting to the CFO, this is a heavy individual contributor role with the opportunity to be in the driver's seat of building a new platform and a new standalone company. The attraction for this role is that they are well capitalized, are targeting an exit within the next few years, and you will have significant visibility both to the leadership team as well as working with the Private Equity Deal Team towards that end. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead P&L reporting and forecasting processes (monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range plans) with a high degree of accuracy and transparency
  • 13 Week Cashflow Forecasting
  • Provide ad-hoc analyses to support the company’s rapid growth
  • Build out future state models and a pro forma view of what 2026 looks like post-separation, along with standalone P&L and cash flow. 
  • Help define the standalone company’s long-term strategy and key metrics/KPIs for success. 
  • Own total booking, revenue, and billing forecasts and related analyses, providing visibility and helping to define key topline metrics in partnership with RevOps, and the broader Executive team
  • Board Reporting and associated PowerPoint presentations
  • Prepare and present analyses, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management to support critical decisions for the company
  • Drive results and effectively manage various cost inputs

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in FP&A with emphasis on forecasting, financial analysis, and modeling. 
  • Interest in a hands-on / doer role, and excited to grow in other areas of responsibility/leadership. 
  • Experience in a similar B2B / Business / Media / Tech Services / Project-based businesses is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with PE-backed portfolio companies, preferably low to mid-market in size. 
  • Autonomous Excellence: Experience thinking strategically about complex business problems, leading to recommendations and action plans
  • Background in banking, consulting, or due diligence/advisory earlier in your career is a plus
  • Excellent PowerPoint / Presentation skills. Ability to build polished decks. 
  • Excellent communicator and someone that people enjoy working with.
