Senior Wealth Advisor

Macon, GA

This role is in-office in Macon, GA. You must be roughly within 25 miles of Macon, GA, or willing to relocate. This local office is very tight-knit, works hard, and has a lot of fun working together in person, so they are looking for someone who will integrate easily into the existing office culture. 

Our client is an established Registered Investment Advisor and Financial Life Manager that has been in business for almost 25 years with over $1B in Assets Under Management (AUM). 

A partner in the firm is nearing retirement, so we are looking for 1(or more) Wealth Advisors to come in and work closely with that advisor over the next year as he transitions out of the business. The existing partner is an established member of the local community and has done a phenomenal job of building the office in Macon, GA, establishing the culture, and training each team member on all of the ins and outs of Wealth Management. 

As a Senior Wealth Advisor, you will not only have an incredibly lucrative compensation package including base/bonus/commission, but you will also have a pathway towards partnership over the long term that could include dividends and equity. Incentive plan on top of base salary includes commissions for new business, servicing an existing book of business, as well as a discretionary bonus based on achieving goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with, learn from, and support our seasoned Financial Advisors in every aspect of client service and business development
  • Prepare for client meetings, service client needs, conduct financial analysis, and manage follow-up and tasks in an elite boutique wealth management firm specializing in complex financial planning, tax planning, and estate planning strategies.

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a Senior or Lead Wealth Management position. 
  • Great skill with Excel, industry systems - Fidelity, Schwab, Salesforce, EMoney.
  • Understanding of the Wealth Management industry and terminology/concepts. Dividends, Capital Gains, IRA's, Opening accounts, etc
  • The desire to push their career, earnings, and personal opportunities through the roof.
  • Strong Customer / Client services orientation. 
  • CFP Preferred
