Office Manager / People Operations Coordinator

Austin, TX

This role is on-site M-F in Northwest Austin. We have a high preference for someone who currently resides in Austin, TX (not re-locating here)

Our client is seeking a talented and super-organized Office Manager to join their team. This is a highly visible role supporting the company and you will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful programs. The ideal candidate will be selfless and service-oriented with the perfect balance of Administrative, and HR / People Operations experience. 

You will work in close partnership with an HR Leader who will see to it that you are learning and supported every step of the way. Our client is a very successful, established, and highly profitable SaaS / Software company with around 75 employees. They pride themselves on their values and the culture they've built and are a no bureaucracy environment. Responsibilities:

  • Provide support across office administration / cultural initiatives (80%), and talent acquisition (20%)
  • Act as the face of the company for all new visitors and employees
  • Coordinates all team and company events
  • Oversee office supplies/employee equipment, snacks, catered meals (daily), and drinks in the office. 
  • Maintain the ATS (Greenhouse) and support Talent Acquisition including interview scheduling, job postings, reporting
  • Partner with HR Director and other teammates on cultural initiatives such as candidate and new hire experiences, employee engagement programs, volunteer opportunities, and special projects
  • Provide administrative support to executives as needed. 

Requirements:

  • Experience with any combination of Office Manager / Administrative Assistant / Executive Assistant, Event Coordination, or HR / People Operations experience. 
  • We are looking for someone with some energy and who brings positivity wherever they go. 
  • Experience working closely with business partners, hiring managers, and leadership teams. 
  • Very comfortable being in the trenches and being hands-on. 
  • Curiosity (zero ego), attention to detail, time prioritization, and very high work ethic - A "do whatever it takes" mentality. Emotional Intelligence and Empathy. The ability to have productive conversations with individuals across the organization. 
  • Event planning experience is a plus
  • Tech Saavy (We are an Office 365 / Sharepoint environment)
